Booking your pontoon is quick and easy. Simply reserve online or call, let us know which lake you'd like your pontoon delivered to, and choose your preferred drop-off time (our standard delivery is 10:00 AM unless otherwise arranged). We'll take care of the logistics so everything is ready when you arrive.

We'll deliver, launch, and have your pontoon fully fueled and ready to go before your rental begins. Standard delivery and launch time is 10:00 AM, unless prior arrangements have been made with Back Road Rentals. Once you arrive, we'll provide a brief walkthrough covering the boat's features, operation, and basic safety so you feel comfortable before heading out. Then, the day is yours to enjoy!

When you're finished for the day, simply return the pontoon to the designated pickup location. Standard pickup time is 6:00 PM, unless prior arrangements have been made with Back Road Rentals. We'll retrieve the pontoon and take care of the rest. No trailering, no launching, and no refueling. Just a simple, stress free rental experience from start to finish.
Our pontoon rental is $350 per day. A one time $150 delivery fee is added to each reservation to cover delivery, launching, and pickup of the boat. The delivery fee is charged once per rental, regardless of the number of days you reserve. Your total cost will be the daily rental rate multiplied by the number of days, plus the one time delivery fee.
Yes, you are welcome to tow the pontoon yourself as long as you have a vehicle capable of safely towing the boat and trailer, along with prior experience towing and launching boats. If you choose to tow the pontoon, you will be responsible for proper hookup, transportation, launching, and retrieval of the boat. If you do not have towing experience, we recommend using our delivery and launch service for a simple, stress free rental experience.
Yes, a $500 security deposit is required on the day of delivery. Delivery and pickup times will be arranged when your reservation is made. The security deposit is separate from the rental cost and is fully refundable, provided the pontoon is returned in the same condition in which it was rented, with no damage beyond normal wear and tear.
The first tank of fuel is included with your rental. While most renters will not need additional fuel during their rental, you are responsible for the cost of any additional fuel used. We do not provide fuel delivery if the boat runs out of gas, so please monitor the fuel level throughout your trip and plan accordingly.
We reserve the right to cancel reservations due to Marine Red Flag Warnings or severe inclement weather. For the purposes of this policy, severe inclement weather includes lightning, thunder, extreme winds, and heavy rainfall. If your reservation is canceled for weather-related safety concerns, we will gladly offer one complimentary rescheduling to a future available date.
You must be at least 21 years old and have prior boating experience. Anyone born on or after July 1, 1996, must provide proof of a valid Michigan Boating Safety Certificate before operating the boat. A boating license is not required for operators born before July 1, 1996. All renters must have a valid driver's license and a valid credit card. Rentals will be canceled if we determine that the operator does not know how to safely and properly operate the vessel.
You may cancel your reservation at no charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled delivery or pickup. If you cancel within 48 hours of your reservation, you will be charged the full rental amount. If you need to make changes to your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
For the safety of our guests and to protect our equipment, our pontoon boats are not permitted on Lake Michigan. While Lake Michigan is a beautiful destination, its rapidly changing weather, larger waves, and open-water conditions are not suitable for pontoon boats. Our pontoons are intended for use on inland lakes.
Your pontoon rental comes equipped with all required safety equipment, including 8 large life jackets, 4 medium life jackets, and 4 small life jackets for passengers of various sizes. We encourage all guests to wear a properly fitted life jacket while on the water, especially children and anyone who is not a confident swimmer.

Don't see your lake listed? Our standard delivery fee covers any lake within a 30-mile radius of us. We're happy to deliver to another lake that isn't listed. If your lake is outside our delivery radius, contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
